The LPVB Slicers (20-5, 8-2 DAC) finished the day 3-1 at the Warsaw Invite. In their first match, the Slicers defeated Northfield 25-8, 25-20. Lexi Joyner led with six kills, while Aniya Kennedy, Paige Conklin, and Cheyanne Seymour had four each. Conklin also chipped ion five aces, while Kennedy led with four total blocks. Olivia Voelker had 14 digs, while Conklin had 10 assists and Halle Seaburg had seven.
In game two, the Slicers fell to a very good Bishop-Dwenger 21-25, 25-17, 11-15. Kennedy led the way with 11 kills, while Annalise Warnock and Conklin added six each. Kennedy led with five total blocks, with Olivia Voelker tallying 11 digs. Conklin also had 12 digs, with Seaburg adding seven.
In the third game, the Slicers beat Northridge 25-16, 25-7. Warnock, Kennedy, and Conklin led the way with four kills each. Seymour had four aces, with Kennedy getting four total blocks. Voelker had eight digs, with Conklin getting 11 assists.
In their final game, the Slicers beat Fairfield 25-20, 25-20. Kennedy led with nine kills, followed by Warnock with seven and Seymour five. Conklin led with nine digs, while Voelker added six. Conklin led with10 assists, while Seaburg added nine.
The Slicers close out their home schedule on Tuesday against City and Thursday against Merrillville.
