The LaPorte Boys Cross Country team finished 14th of 32 teams with an overall team score of 350 at the New Prairie Invite on Saturday in New Carlisle, Indiana. Leading the way for the Slicers was a top 10 finish from Mitchell Gits with an overall time of 16:29. Also scoring for the Slicers was Connor Havens (60/17:35), Cole Raymond (78/17:49), Sam Bell with a personal best time of 18:11 (93rd), and Jeremy Groth (117/18:30). Lowell won the meet with a combined score of 150.
In the reserve race, LaPorte had 3 top 50 finishers and was led by a 23rd place finish by Jacob Rabideau with a season best time of 19:07, Remi Cernel (41/19:38), and John Groth (50/19:46). No team scores were kept in this race.
