The Slicer Boys Cross Country team ran to an 11th place finish and 239 combined points in the Open Race competition at the Culver Invitational on Saturday in the 18 team field. Leading the way was a personal best performance from Sam Bell with a 28th place finish at 17:45, and a 39th place finish from Jacob Rabideau at 18:02. Finishing up the scoring for LaPorte was Sean Wilson (43/18:10), Jeremy Groth (53/18;18), and Remi Cernel (76/18:46). New Prairie won the competition with a total score of 57
In the Reserve race, the Slicers earned two top 50 performances from Caden Collette (41/19;50) and Graham Foglesong (42/19:52).
