LaPorte defeated Michigan City 4-3 on Tuesday thanks to a walk-off interference call. The game was tied at three with LaPorte batting in the bottom of the ninth when an error scored one run for LaPorte Slicer Varsity.

LaPorte tallied three runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught by LaPorte was led by Carson Crass and Gavin Zolvinski, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Brock Lipscomb was credited with the victory for LaPorte. He surrendered zero runs on two hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out two.

Chris Gault took the loss for Michigan City. He surrendered one run on zero hits over one and two-thirds innings, walking one.

Tyler Cuma started the game for Michigan City. He went seven innings, allowing three runs on six hits and striking out four Parker Hill started the game for LaPorte. He allowed seven hits and three runs over five and a third innings, striking out five and walking one

LaPorte totaled six hits in the game. Zolvinski and Carson Stalbaum each racked up multiple hits for LaPorte. Stalbaum and Zolvinski all had two hits to lead LaPorte Slicer Varsity.
