LaPorte defeated Michigan City 11-0 on Wednesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout.
LaPorte secured the victory thanks to six runs in the seventh inning. Carson Crass, Josh Trim, Conner Stalbaum, and Carson Stalbaum all drove in runs in the frame.

Logan Schroeder led the LaPorte to victory on the pitcher’s mound. He lasted six innings, allowing five hits and zero runs while striking out five. Jackson Mrozinski threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
LaPorte racked up ten hits. Brock Lipscomb, Stalbaum, and Stalbaum all collected multiple hits for LaPorte. Conner Stalbaum, Carson Stalbaum, and Lipscomb all had two hits to lead LaPorte. LaPorte was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Jared Pinkerton had the most chances in the field with seven.
