The LaPorte Varsity Volleyball team went 3-1 this weekend, finishing in third place. They started strong with wins over Kouts (25-17, 25-17) and East Chicago (25-5, 25-9). In their third match, they fell to Concord (18-25, 19-25), but finished the day with a win against New Prairie (25-15, 25-17). Madalyn Kreamer led the defense with 39 digs, while Kaitlin Wilson finished with 42 kills. Lilly Buckley and Evelyn Shirk added several assists, and Baylie Dewitt and Lexi Surowiec made key plays throughout the day.
