The girls varsity golf team split with Portage and Chesterton. Final scores were: Chesterton 183, Laporte 198, Portage 241. Low score for LaPorte was Anna Menne with a 44. Top honors went to Lola Krenkel with a 40. LaPorte's JV team won their match against Chesterton (Portage didn't have a JV team) 199 to 228. LaPorte's Ava Hedricks 47 was good enough to earn top honors for all of JV. Our next match is Wednesday at Beechwood against Merrillville and Lake Central. This will be our senior night.
