LaPorte Varsity Softball Defeats Merrillville Addy Bennitt earned the win for LaPorte. The starter gave up six hits and five runs (four earned) over five innings, striking out seven and walking two. LaPorte amassed 19 hits in the game. Evie Travis, Shayla Sorg, Madi Squire, Megan Zolvinski, Jersey Worthington, and Addi Hill each collected multiple hits for LaPorte.
