LaPorte Girls Track and Field lost to Crown Point (105-27) and Chesterton (109.5-22.5) on Tuesday, April 29. Although the end result was two losses, the LPGTF squad finished the day with ample personal records. Top scoring individuals were as follows: 4x800m Relay-Faith Spain, Caitlyn Carnes, Maggie Conner, Madalyn Kreamer (9:52.73) 2nd Place 100m Hurdles- Ava Redlin (18.08) 6th Place 100m Dash- Kyria Zapala (13.04) 6th Place 1600m Run- Faith Spain (5:14.91) 2nd Place 4x100m Relay- Ava Redlin, Susan Anglin, Kyria Zapala, Taniya Campbell (52.87) 3rd Place 400m Dash- Maggie Conner (1:02.87) 2nd Place 300m Hurdles- Lana Schable (50.54) 5th Place 800m Run- Caitlyn Carnes (2:34.30) 6th Place 200m Dash- Taniya Campbell (27.33) 4th Place 3200m Run- Caylin VanShoyck (12:20.23) 4th Place 4x400m Relay- Maggie Conner, Lana Schable, Madalyn Kreamer, Caitlyn Carnes (4:58.21) 3rd Place High Jump- Susan Anglin (4'8") 6th Place Pole Vault- Anna Beck (7'0") 3rd Place Long Jump- Amiah Thornton (16'2.5") 5th Place Discus- Alyviah Mason (82-03) 7th Place Shot Put- Rae Dawsey (31-07.5) 5th Place The LPGTF Varsity squad will be back in action on Friday, May 2nd, at Mishawaka High School to participate in the Mishawaka Princess Relays. LPGTF is 0-5 on the season.
