LPTF Earns Split on Senior Night

Varsity vs Chesterton High School (47 - 85) Loss Varsity vs Crown Point High School (86 - 46) Win The LaPorte Boys Track & Field team celebrated our seniors at our last home meet of the year, and earned a win against Crown Point, but fell short against Chesterton on Tuesday. Overall performances throughout the night on the track and on the field, were solid, but weren't enough to earn a sweep. Overall event winners were: 1600m: Jack Miskowicz (4:28.01) 800m: Liam Lilly (2:00.80) 400m: Landyn Hunt (50.09) 4x800 Relay: L. Hunt, Lilly, Hunter Quadlin, Miskowicz (8:32.00) The Slicers earned numerous 2nd and 3rd place finishes throughout the evening including Gavin Wilson in the 110HH & 300IH, Tayshaun Williams in the 100m & 200m dash, Malachi Washington in the shot put, and Destin Matzke in the high jump & long jump. The Slicers will also travel to Warsaw this Friday to compete in the Max Truex Invitational.
