Khalen Matzke was dominant on the bump, as the pitcher rang up 10 strikeouts in La Porte Slicers JV's 16-0 victory over Michigan City Junior Varsity Wolves on Tuesday. Matzke allowed three hits and zero runs over five innings while walking none. Matzke collected three hits in five at bats in the win. Matzke singled in the first inning, singled in the second inning, and singled in the third inning. La Porte Slicers JV jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Matzke singled, scoring two runs, Wes Kaiser singled, scoring two runs, Ethan Badger singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and an error scored one run.
