Madi Squire hit a solo home run to left field in the bottom of the second for LaPorte. Addy Bennitt stepped in the circle first for LaPorte. The righty gave up eight hits and seven runs (five earned) over six innings, striking out one and walking none. Keraghan Blind pitched one inning of no-run ball for LaPorte in relief. The hurler allowed zero hits, striking out none and walking none. LaPorte tallied 11 hits in the game. Travis provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led LaPorte with four runs batted in. The right fielder went 3-for-4 on the day. Squire and Megan Zolvinski each collected multiple hits for LaPorte. Squire and Allie Wiencek each stole multiple bases.
