The Boys Varsity basketball team fell Friday evening at host Mishawaka Marian, 71-43. La Porte was led by Nic Spence with 11 points, 6 rebounds and Griffin Ott-Large with 11 points, 5 assists. The Slicers finish the regular season at 14-9. Next up for the Slicers is Penn in the opening round of the IHSAA Sectional. The first round game will be played at Michigan City High School at 5:30 PM. The winner of the La Porte/Penn game will advance to face Michigan City on Friday evening in the Sectional Semifinals, also at 5:30 PM.
