On Friday night, the La Porte boys varsity basketball team defeated visiting Chesterton 51-46. The Slicers were led by Griffin Ott-Large with 17 points, including 7-7 from the FT line. Nic Spence added 9 points and 7 rebounds, and Reed Raymond chipped in 9 points as well. The Slicers improve to 10-4 on the season and 2-0 in the Duneland Athletic Conference.
