LP Girls Swimming Falls to Crown Point 120-59

By Brahim Hakim | Jan 14, 2025 9:21 PM

The Slicers traveled to Crown Point this evening to face an incredibly talented and deep Bulldogs team. Our girls started the meet out strong, but couldn't keep pace with Crown Point. To give you an idea of how deep Crown Point is, they've got 35 girls on their roster vs LaPorte's 12. Noor Hakim was the only individual event winner for the Slicers, picking up a first place in the 100 Breaststroke. The 200 Medley Relay team of: Cali Hatala (backstroke), Hakim (breaststroke), Megan Zolvinski (butterfly), and Lily Siford (freestyle) notched first place as did the 200 Freestyle Relay of: Siford, Katelyn Peterson, Zolvinski, and Isabel Barron. The Slicers record falls to 11-7. They travel to Hobart on Thursday. Always proud. Go Slicers! Coach Brahim
