The Slicers Boys Basketball team won in Slicer Gym on Friday night over visiting Griffith, 45-42. Nic Spence led the way with a double-double, scoring 16 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. Griffin Ott-Large had 13 points, 7 rebounds, and Sawyer Tonagel had 11 points, going 3-7 from beyond the 3-point line for the Slicers, who improved to 4-3 on the year with the win. La Porte will travel to Hanover Central (3-1) tomorrow for a 5:30 JV/7:00 Varsity tip off.
