It was Senior Night tonight, and the Slicers Girls Swimming and Diving team beat the Highland Trojans 123-61. Highland gave a great effort, but their young team was no match for the Slicers veterans. LaPorte won every event except diving and the 500 Freestyle. Seniors Lily Siford, Regan Hughes, Katelyn Peterson, Megan Zolvinski and Lyla Bannwart all walked the pool deck with their families. It will be a big loss for the team when these 5 graduate. Winning for LaPorte were: 200 Medley Relay: Cali Hatala (backstroke), Noor Hakim (breaststroke), Megan Zolvinski (butterfly) and Lily Siford (freestyle). 200 Freestyle: Cali Hatala. Hatala also won the 100 Backstroke. 200 Individual Medley: Noor Hakim 50 Freestyle: It was a tie for first between Seniors Lily Siford and Megan Zolvinski. Siford and Zolvinski also won the 100 Freestyle and 100 Butterfly respectively. 200 Freestyle Relay: Isabel BArron, Grace Caviston, Lily Siford and Megan Zolvinski. 100 Breaststroke: Grace Caviston 400 Freestyle Relay: Isabel Barron, Katelyn Peterson, Cali Hatala and Noor Hakim.
