The LaPorte Slicer Wrestling team (10-8) defeated the Valparaiso Vikings last night in a close, back and forth match by a score of 38-35. Bryice Fain (6-2), Sam Malstaff (1-0), Brendan Maas (8-9), Porter Ivankovig (16-2), Josh England (16-2) and Grant Uhlemann (14-4) all win their matches via a fall. Justin Dieken (9-8) won his match via a decision. The Slicers will compete in a five match tournament on Saturday December 21st at Munster High School at 9:00 am.
