Slicers Comeback Falls Short vs SB Washington

The Varsity Boys Basketball team lost a heartbreaker on Saturday evening in Slicer Gym, falling to undefeated South Bend Washington. La Porte was down 11 early in the fourth, before tying the game with under 0:30 to play. On their final possession, South Bend Washington buried a three with 1.8 seconds remaining, giving them a 66-63 victory. The team was led by Griffin Ott-Large with 18 points on 8/13 shooting. Reed Raymond added 12 points, 10 rebounds, and Nic Spence added 11 points, 11 rebounds for La Porte, who fell to 3-3 on the season. La Porte returns to action next Friday at home vs Griffith.
