The LaPorte Slicer Wrestling team competed in the LaPorte Super Duals over the weekend and compiled a 1-4 record. The Slicers lost to Merrillville, Northwood, Rensselaer Central, and Lowell, while defeating Andrean. The Slicers had four wrestlers earn a 4-1 record on the day. These wrestlers include Josh England (14-2), Porter Ivankovig (14-2), Grant Uhlemann (12-4), and Karol Bogacz (8-1). The Slicers will be back on the mat on Wednesday December 11th against the Michigan City Wolves. The match will take place at Barker Middle School at 6:30 pm.
