Slicers Boys Swimming and Diving Tops Michigan City 138-39

The Slicers Swimming and Dive team hosted an undermanned Michigan City team tonight, and won 138-39. LaPorte won every event except the 100 Freestyle, and went 1,2,3 in several events. The Slicers opened the meet going 1-2 in the 200 Medley Relay with: Otto Wildhart (backstroke), Chaise Adrian (breaststroke), Abbas Hakim (butterfly), and Roman Garay (freestyle). Freshman James Quadlin won the 200 Freestyle, with Chase Childers finishing second. LaPorte went 1,2,3 in the 200 Individual Medley with: Chaise Adrian, Otto Wildhart, and Cameron Hatala getting the job done. Abbas Hakim won both the 50 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke, with Otto Wildhart picking up the second in breast. Andrew Hayes and Landon Corbett went 1,2 in Diving with both getting personal best scores of 214.55 and 171.35 respectively. Roman Garay won both the 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke, with LP going 1,2,3 in back. Milo Jimenez won the 500 Freestyle. LaPorte won the 200 Freestyle Relay with: Garay, Hakim, Wildhart and Adrian. LaPorte finished the meet with a 1,2 finish in the 400 Freestyle Relay with: Chase Childers, Quadlin, Karter Griffin and Hatala. The Slicers record climbs to 2-1, and they host Culver Academies on Thursday. Always proud. Go Slicers! Coach Brahim
