The LaPorte Slicer Girls Wrestling team placed 6th out of twenty-five teams at the Highland Invitational. In order to earn a spot on the podium, a wrestler must place in the top eight in their respective weight class. Six Slicers successfully wrestled their way to placement in the invitational. Cienna Jordan earned 8th place, while Alexis Hopkins collected a 6th place finish. Mersaydes Carter and Leah Williamson both secured a 3rd place finish. Aubrey Klettke and Anastasia O'Shea were the top finishers for the Slicers by capturing 2nd place finishes. The LaPorte Slicer Girls Wrestling Team will be back on the mat on November 20th at Portage High School at 5:30.
