The LaPorte boys Cross Country team finished in second place at the New Prairie sectional meet and will advance to the regional round next Saturday. The Slicers had four athletes named all sectional, Hunter Quadlin, Liam Lilly, Jack Miskowicz, and Evan Howes. Seniors Hunter Quadlin and Liam Lilly led the way finishing 6th and 7th, respectively. Sophomores Jack Miskowicz (13th), Evan Howes (19th), and Luke Romine (23rd) rounded out the scoring for the Slicers top 5. Senior Charles Tonagel (24th) and sophomore Reagan Buchanan (30th) also added solid efforts on the day. The Slicers will compete in the New Prairie Regional meet next Saturday to qualify for a fourth consecutive team trip to state!
