The LaPorte volleyball team dropped a 17-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-23 Duneland Athletic Conference decision to Valparaiso on Tuesday night. Offensively, Avery Tulacz and Elizabeth Anglin led the Slicers with 10 kills each, while Kailtin Wilson had six kills and Abbie DeLee had four kills. Lilly Buckley dished out a team-best 19 assists with Anglin adding 11 helpers. Defensively, Emma Hull had 17 digs with Buckley, Tulacz an Anglin adding seven each. Mia Mendoza contributed six digs and Shayla Sorg had five digs. On the service line, Anglin and Mendoza had three aces with Tulacz and Madalyn Kreamer adding two each. In the junior varsity contest, Valparaiso won 2-0.
