The LaPorte Slicers Cross Country team ran at the New Prairie Invitational on Saturday. New Prairie hosted one of the largest and most competitive cross events in the state this weekend. The Slicers finished 15th of 22 teams. The results weren't quite what the girls wanted, but the team gets a chance to redeem themselves at the DAC Invitational on October 5th.
