The LaPorte volleyball team dropped a 25-18, 25-21, 25-21 Duneland Athletic Conference decision to Chesterton on Thursday night. Offensively, Avery Tulacz led the Slicers with seven kills, while Abbie DeLee tallied five kills. Madison Copeland recorded four kills and Elizabeth Anglin had three kills. Anglin also dished out a team-best 18 assists. Defensively, Anglin had 12 digs with Emma Hull and Mia Mendoza adding 10 digs each. Tulacz recorded nine digs in the loss. At the net, Anglin and DeLee had two blocks each and Shayla Sorg led the way from the service line with three aces. In the junior varsity contest, the Slicers dropped a 2-1 decision to the Trojans.
