The LaPorte Girls Cross Country Team took part in the Harrison Invitational today in Lafayette. The Slicers placed 11th of 24 teams in a very competitive field. Leading the way were seniors Caitlyn Carnes and Faith Spain. The pair came in 15th and 16th place out of over 200 runners. Carnes ran a personal best time and Spain ran a season best. Many other LaPorte runners came away with personal best (pb) times today and will look to improve open those performances next week at the Indiana Wesleyan Wildcat Invitational.
