LaPorte Slicers JV couldn’t keep up with the Crown Point Bulldogs JV and fell 8-0 on Tuesday. Crown Point got on the board in the bottom of the second inning on a sacrifice fly and a walk that each scored a run. Cody Benedict took the loss for LaPorte. He went three innings, allowing two runs on two hits, striking out four and walking six. Keegan Ramos led the Slicers with one hit in two at bats. LaPorte Slicers JV will next be in action tomorrow, April 10th, when they will again take on Crown Point this time at DeCamp Field. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
