Boys Basketball Earns Road Win at Goshen, 60-46

On Saturday, the Slicers boys varsity basketball team used a 28-12 first half run to pull away from host Goshen High School in a 60-46 victory. LaPorte was led by senior Rylan Kieszkowski with 22 pts on 10/15 shooting, while also grabbing 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Nic Spence had 18 points, 10 rebounds for LaPorte and Malik Corley chipped in 10 points in the win. The Slicers turned in a hot-shooting performance on the road, shooting 62.5% from beyond the arc, as well as 83% from the FT line. LaPorte outscored Goshen 20-4 on transition points and registered 11 steals on the night. LaPorte gets back to .500 at 10-10 with the win. Next up for the Slicers, a road DAC test at Portage on Friday, 2/16.
