The LaPorte Wrestling team fell to the Chesterton Trojans by a score of 62-13. This loss drops the Slicers' record on the year to 10-16. Three Slicers wrestled their way to victory througout the dual meet. Isaac Kleist (21-8) won a close match by a score of 7-4. Riley Griffin (6-6) earned a major decision by defeating his opponent by a score of 8-0. Josh England (21-5) defeated his opponent by pin on the last match of the night. The Slicers are back in action on Saturday January 20th for the Duneland Athletic Conference tournament at Lake Central. Wrestling starts at 9:00 am.
