The Slicers hosted the Crown Point Bulldogs, and the Bulldogs won 134-49. There were a lot of nice swims by our team, but Crown Point was just too deep. The Slicers had two individual wins, with Lily Siford winning the 100 Freestyle, and Noor Hakim winning the 100 Breaststroke. Other nice swims go to Liz Luna, who dropped 8.5 seconds in her 500 Freestyle. Freshman Madi Griffin swam her first 500, and did great. Regan Hughes has slowly been making her comeback after injury, and her 100 Freestyle relay split and 100 Backstroke look promising. Siford also had a lifetime best in the 100 Freestyle, getting closer to breaking the minute barrier. Freshman Emma Boone also had a couple of nice races, and Nala Hammoud tried the 100 Butterfly for the first time and had a nice race. Abigail Burger had a lifetime PR in the 100 Backstroke. The Slicers host Merrillville next Tuesday. It's also Senior Night, so come out and support your Slicers. Always proud. Go Slicers! Coach Brahim
