The La Porte Slicers boys basketball team defeated Logansport Wednesday evening 65-50 in the semifinals of the Steiner Homes Holiday Tournament. La Porte had 4 players in double figures in the win, led by Malik Corley with 17 points. Griffin Ott-Large added 14 points, while Rylan Kieszkowski and Nic Spence both had 10 points apiece. Spence also pulled down 11 rebounds in the victory for the Slicers. La Porte advances to play in the Championship on Friday evening at 5:30 PM in Slicer Gymnasium. With the win, the Slicers improved to 7-3 on the year.
