The LaPorte Wrestling team collected one win out of five matches at the LaPorte Super Dual Invitational on Saturday December 2nd. This weekend now makes the Slicers’ record 7-9 on the season. The Slicers defeated Andrean while dropping their matches against Merrillville, Northwood, Rensselaer Central, and Lowell. The Slicers were led by junior Josh England, as well as senior Isaac Kleist. Both England and Kleist battled their way to win four out of their five matches. England’s performance during the LaPorte Super Dual Invitational improved his record to 9-2, while Kleist improved his record to 11-5. The Slicers are back in action on Wednesday December 6th when they take on the Michigan City Wolves at LaPorte High School at 6:30 pm.
