The LaPorte Slicers Boys Swimming and Dive team hosted the New Prairie Cougars this morning, and came out on top 122-58. LaPorte has been training hard with two-a-day practices. They had a gruelling 3 hour practice yesterday and asked for a full practice before the meet. Hats off to these dedicated athletes. With Thanksgiving just 2 days ago, there were a lot of former Slicer teammates in the stands cheering. The Slicers opened up the meet with a win in the 200 Medley Relay behind: Jake Schroeder (Back), Abbas Hakim (Breast), Otto Wildhart (Fly), and Chaise Adrian (Free). Individual Winners were: Roman Garay 200 Freestyle. Gavin Crail: 200 Individual Medley Abbas Hakim: 50 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke Otto Wildhart: 100 Butterfly Andrew Hayes won diving with a lifetime PR of 214.45 points. Hayes has stepped up both as diver and team leader. Chaise Adrian: 500 Freestyle Jakob Schroeder: 100 Backstroke The 200 Freestyle Relay of Crail, Allen Fuller, Garay, and Wildhart finished first.
