In the regular season opener, the Boys Varsity Basketball team lost to SB Riley 81-51. The Slicers were led by junior, Nic Spence, with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman Griffin Ott-Large added 9 pts, 5 rebs, 6 assts, sophomore Sawyer Tonagel added 9 points, and senior, Rylan Kieszkowski had 7 for the Slicers. La Porte will be in action on Saturday afternoon against #10 Fishers. JV Tip off is at 12:00, with Varsity following at 1:30 PM.
