Varsity vs Merrillville High School Win The lady Slicers got back on track this evening with a very good performance against the Merrillville Lady Pirates. After numerous illnesses and injuries the Lady Slicers were able to pull together collectively and fill in the gaps with some inspired play. Claire Huber was able to get the scoring started with a nice assist from freshman Fabiana Saban. The two worked well together throughout the night to solidify a nice offensive performance along with some very good ball movement from a host of Slicers teammates. At the end of a very warm night Claire ended with 5 goals and 2 assists, Fabiana had 3 goals 1 assist while teammates Bayleigh Miller tallied 1 goal, Natali Cuarenta 1 assist and Denisse Luna totaling 3 assists. The Lady Slicers ended with a complete team performance which was impressive with a depleted bench maintaining allot of field time in the heat of the night.
