LaPorte girls volleyball traveled to Penn High School today to play a three way. The varsity team started off with a strong first match defeating Bishop Dwenger in 3 sets 25-19, 25-13, 25-7. Madison Copeland led the team offensively with 14 kills. Shayla Sorg led the team defensively with 20 digs. The second match of the day LaPorte fell to Penn losing 20-25, 20-25, 11-25. Kaitlin Wilson let the team in kills this match while Evelyn Shirk led the team in assists. The JV team also started the day off strong defeating Bishop Dwenger in 2 sets 26-24, 25-22. The second match LaPorte fell to Penn 15-25, 14-25. Audri Garske led the team defensively throughout the day while Aubrie Levenhagen led the team offensively.
