The La Porte Slicer loose a tuff one tonight to the Crown Point Bulldogs. The Slicers went up early in the 1st quarter with a 37 yard Reed Raymond touchdown followed by a successful 2 point conversion. The Bulldogs were able to strike right back to tie to the score 8-8 at the end of the first quarter. Reed Raymond found the endzone again late in the 2nd quarter to make the score 14-15 going into the half. In the 3rd quarter Raymond scored for a 3rd time on the night along with a second successful 2 point conversion. Crown Point came back answered back with a score and 2 point play of their own making it 22-23 Crown Point going into the 4th. The Slicers kept fighting but fell short at the end of regulation. The Slicer will travel to Michigan City to take on the Wolves next Thursday.
