SLICER GIRLS TRACK & FIELD 2026 IHSAA Sectional Information =========================================== Date •Tuesday, 5/19/26 Location •Chesterton HS - 2125 S 11th St, Chesterton Participating Schools •Chesterton, LaPorte, Marquette Catholic, Michigan City, New Prairie, Portage, South Central, Valparaiso, Washington Twp, Westville Schedule of Events •4:45 pm - Field Events (Discus, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, Pole Vault) •5:00 pm - 4x800 M Relay Finals •5:15 pm - Running Event Trials (100 M, 100 M Hurdles, 200 M) •5:55 pm - National Anthem •6:00 pm - Running Event Finals (100 M High Hurdles, 100 M, 1600 M, 4x100 M Relay, 400 M, 300 M Low Hurdles, 800 M, 200 M, 3200 M, 4x400 M Relay) Ticket Information •All tickets are $8.00 ($8.95 w/fee) •Advance purchase link - https://public.eventlink.com/tickets?t=181738 •Tickets can be purchased at the gate with a Debit/Credit Card (no cash) •Only IHSAA Lifetime Passes are accepted Spectator Information •Gates open at 4:00 pm •Fan parking is located in the lot between the football field and school •Entrance to the facility is at the south end of the football field •See the map attached for reference •Concessions accepts both Cash and Card Advancement to the IHSAA Regional •1st, 2nd, and 3rd place sectional winners in all individual events and relays plus any individual or relay team meeting the 3 Participant Standard in the sectional finals of their event. If the top 3 finishers plus 3 Participant Standard advancers in an event is less than 16, the next best performances from the corresponding sectionals shall be added to bring the total number of entrants to 16 in each event. An individual or relay team shall not advance to the regional from the sectional finals unless the time is recorded by fully automatic timing (FAT). =========================================== ONCE A SLICER, ALWAYS A SLICER!!!
