Pitching Impressive As La Porte Slicers JV Beat Valparaiso Junior Varsity Vikings

Both teams were strong on the hill on Wednesday, but La Porte Slicers JV defeated Valparaiso Junior Varsity Vikings 2-0. Jake Dickman started the game for La Porte and recorded 15 outs. The Slicers opened the scoring in the second after Zack Donah singled, scoring two runs. Dickman earned the win for La Porte. The righty allowed six hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out three and walking none. Donah, the number nine hitter for the Slicers, led the way with two runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-1 on the day. Quinn White and Donah each collected one hit for La Porte. Dickman stole two bases. The Slicers were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. White made the most plays with four. La Porte Slicers JV will next be in action Saturday, May 16th, when they will take on Lowell in a double header at DeCamp Field.
