La Porte golf split a DAC triangular Tuesday night at Michigan City Municipal Golf Course. La Porte defeated Michigan City 163-181 but lost to Chesterton 163-158. Burke Penziol led the Slicers with a 37. Lukas Albin, Evan Sittig, and Gabe Younggreen all shot 42 to round out the scoring. The JV Slicers also split by beating Michigan City 176-245 and losing to Chesterton 176-173. Logan Cooney led with a 41. Braydin Miller, Ryan Rinker, and Brooks Tonagel all shot 45. The Slicers will host the Uebele Invitational on Friday morning at Beechwood.
