LaPorte Varsity Boys Volleyball fell to Lake Central in 3 sets 9-25, 16-25, 11-25. Dimitrius Staggers, Kade Kukla, and Bryce Jones let the team offensively while Javier Magana and Bryce Jones led the team defensively. Cai like led the team in assists. The Jv season came to a close last night with a loss to Lake Central. 17/25 & 21/25. The boys fought hard and played a great game, showing the great improvements they’ve made over the course of the season. Leading in offense was Miguel Jacuinde with 4 kills, Xavier Vinson with 2 kills, Derek Villalba-Vera with 8 assists, and Nick Perra with 3 aces. Our defense played aggressively with Jordan Rivera leading with 9 digs and Xavier Vinson with 5 digs. While we are sad the JV season has come to an end, we are excited to cheer on Varsity for sectionals next week.
