LaPorte Lacrosse improved their record to 8-3 with a big win against Elkhart on Wednesday. Following a 17-5 win against Munster last Thursday, the Slicers traveled to Elkhart, beating them 18-4. Max Burke led the offense with 5 goals and an assist. Jack Borrelli and Lincoln Girard also tallied 4 goals each. Goaltenders Lucky Post and Lilly Wilson split the game, both with outstanding performances to hold the Lions to 4. The Slicers remain 2nd in the IN Club division with high hopes of playing for a state championship on May 30th. Next up is the Play for Jake fundraiser game on Friday night, 5/8. All are encouraged to come partake in the fundraising festivities as Slicer Lacrosse gives back to a cause close to their hearts. This will be the final home game of the season. The Slicers face off against Victory Christian Academy at 7PM Friday!
