La Porte defeated Merrillville 169-238 Tuesday night at Scherwood Golf Course. Evan Sittig and Burke Penziol led the Slicers each with a 39. Lukas Albin had a 44 and Oscar Saban 47 to round out the scoring. The Slicers will travel to Forest Park on Thursday to take on Portage and Valparaiso.
