LPGTF Falls to Crown Point, Chesterton at Home

LaPorte Girls Track and Field competed well against Crown Point (110-22) and Chesterton (110-22) despite the loss on 4/28 at home. Although the girls lost to both teams, there were many impressive performances and personal records from all athletes. Top scoring individuals were as follows: 4x800m Relay- Denisse Luna, Kate Howes, Miranda Pham, Maddie Johnson (12:13.44) 3rd Place 100m Hurdles- Lana Schable (18.50) 6th Place 100m Dash- Kyria Zapala (12.90) 3rd Place 1600m Run- Caylin VanShoyck (5:29.18) 5th Place 4x100m Relay- Olivia Yuhasz, Piper Cushway, Kyria Zapala, Taniya Campbell (51.77) 3rd Place 300m Hurdles- Lana Schable (51.80) 6th Place 3200m Run- Caylin VanShoyck (12:16.60) 3rd Place 4x400m Relay- Lana Schable, Danica St. Arnaud, Madalyn Kreamer, Piper Cushway (4:33.23) 3rd Place High Jump- Claire Hardesty (4’6”) 4th Place Long Jump- Taniya Campbell (15'3.5”) 5th Place Pole Vault- Anna Beck (8’0") 2nd Place, Josie Smith (7'6”) 3rd Place Shot Put- Rae Dawsey (32-05) 2nd Place, Alyviah Mason (29-01.25) 7th Place LPGTF is 0-5 on the season. We will be back in action on Friday, 5/1, at the Mishawaka Princess Relays.
