LaPorte varsity boys volleyball fell to Merrillville in 3 sets 16-25, 21-25, 20-25. Javier Magana led the team defensively in digs. Slade Rain and Kade Kukla led the team in aces. The JV team defended their title against Merrillville last night, dominating the win in 2 sets. 25/8 & 25/12. Will, Diego, and Jordan led in defense, making it look effortless. Miguel and Xavier led the offense with 3 kills each, 5 of which were assisted by Derek. With the team already doubling their record from the previous year, we are excited to watch how they close out their season in the last 3 games next week. Make sure to join them for their last two home games Tuesday, 5/12 (senior night) & Thursday, 5/14 (teacher appreciation night).
