La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers opened the scoring in the first after Bella Escobedo doubled, scoring Ava Moses. A single by Jillian Conrad gave La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers the lead, 2-1, in the top of the second. La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers took the lead in the top of the third. Abby Culp singled, scoring two runs, to give La Porte Junior Varsity Slicers the upper hand, 4-3. Chesterton scored nine runs on six hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Bozak earned the win for Chesterton. The starting pitcher gave up seven hits and four runs over five innings, striking out one and walking two.
