Chesterton Junior Varsity Trojans defeated La Porte Slicers JV 10-3 on Tuesday, finished on Wednesday, thanks in part to six runs in the second inning. Andrew Colon took the loss for La Porte. The starter went three and two-thirds innings, giving up 10 runs on eight hits, striking out five and walking three. Ian Mitchell and Jake Dickman each collected two hits for the Slicers. Colon went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in.
