La Porte Softball had trouble keeping up with Crown Point in a 15-3 loss on Wednesday. Lexi Surowiec provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led La Porte with two runs batted in. The first baseman went 2-for-3 on the day. Madi Squire and Surowiec each collected two hits for La Porte. La Porte was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Paige White had the most chances in the field with six. Kieanna Simpson started in the circle for La Porte. Simpson went two innings, giving up six runs (five earned) on four hits, striking out one and walking two. Next up for La Porte is a game at Westville on Friday.
