LaPorte Girls Track and Field competed at the Elkhart Lioness Invitational on Friday, April 17th—coming home with a medal and a solid bunch of ribbons. Top scoring individuals were as follows: 800m Run- Madalyn Kreamer (2:53.43) 7th Place 3200m Run- Caylin VanShoyck (1st Place), Vivian Leniski (6th Place) Pole Vault- Anna Beck (7'6”) 4th Place, Josie Smith (7’0”) Tied 6th Place Discus- Rae Dawsey (78-07) 7th Place, Alyviah Mason (78-02) 8th Place Shot Put- Rae Dawsey (33-09.5) 4th Place, Alyviah Mason (30-08) 6th Place We are very excited to see what this group is able to continue to accomplish throughout the season. We will be back in action on Tuesday, April 21st at Portage. We cannot wait to see you there!
